Always have a plan
Before you continue, have you completed the previous step? If not, do not read on, as it will be as useless as trying to build a building without a blueprint and as worthless as a car without gas.

Your plan is a guide that you must execute carefully. It identifies the steps you must take to gradually get closer to your goal. If your plan is to expand your business, what do you need to do to achieve that?

Write a list based on stages and order of priority, analyze it in a logical way and put it into practice.

It is worth mentioning that this plan must be flexible to internal or external factors that develop over time and for this reason, you must constantly analyze it and change it when necessary.

Personally, I recommend the system of objectives and key results (OKRs) carried out in 3 alignable schemes: annual, quarterly and monthly goals.

Have metrics that allow you to monitor your progress

If you want to anticipate the reaction of your prospects, conduct surveys and market studies; if you want to prevent employee desertion, conduct studies on the work environment.

This advice is not a mystery, nor is it the biggest secret in the business world. That is why I am surprised at how little importance many companies give to communication channels between employees, clients and prospects with the company.
