What positive impacts does COVID-19 have?

Post by pappu888 »

Nowadays, it is common for many organizations to incorporate practices that have a positive impact on society into their corporate social responsibility policies . But what this crisis has shown us is that we cannot work only on certain actions or at specific times. Without a doubt, contributing to society must be part of our purpose as an organization : it must be the essence of our DNA . Therefore, we must be very attentive to the signals in order to pivot quickly and respond at the right time to each need.

I sincerely believe that the positive impact of this crisis lies in the opportunity to become aware and be active in implementing social action measures. The objective? To contribute significantly to a vp financial email lists change of direction. A change that guides us towards the well-being of people and the sustainable development of our planet.

During these days of confinement, I have felt how we have all turned towards a single purpose, to contribute to making the pandemic less hard and that, from our experience, we are able to support the groups that may be most affected. But experiencing it from within, as a Naturgy employee, is especially exciting. And we are learning how our team resolves with absolute dedication each of the cases they face.

I am going to tell you an example. This week, the Operations colleagues in Castilla-La Mancha, with the support of the Vulnerability area, have gone all out so that a couple of pensioners affected by the coronavirus can have hot water at home . Coordinated with the Naturgy Foundation and the Red Cross, they have managed to cover the cost of the boiler. Until they have resolved this situation, they have not stopped following the case. And like them, there are many other examples that make us feel very connected to what is happening in a more personal way. These actions, carried out by colleagues like us, make us feel that we can all contribute and be part of the solution .

And what opportunities has the pandemic brought to you?
