In addition to this, the platform has several key elements that make up its network . These elements are:

1. Inventory: advertising space available for sale. This in turn has:

Ad units: The representation in Ad Manager of the space in which you can place ads. You can also create labels for each of them.
Positions: This is an optional grouping of ad units that provides the convenience of search targeting.  
Key-values: Allows you to define custom search targeting criteria.  Examples include specific terms or pages.
2. Publication: Publications can be made when the inventory is already available.

Within the campaigns there are:

Orders: Representation in Ad Manager of an agreement with the advertiser. Orders have a start and end date .
Order lines: Order lines are embedded within orders.
These contain information regarding the dates of execution , the search orientation and the price of the creatives.

Creatives: Ads that can be in image or video format . Creatives are posts that are targeted at users.
In order to publish a creative, it must be associated with one or more order lines .

3. Users, teams, and companies: Ad Manager allows you to monitor and control who accesses your network , as well as what they can see and how they can interact.

So this platform uses a way to manage its own and external users:

First-party users: In the case of first-party users, Google Ad Manager takes into account the user and the role.
Considering that the user is usually a person associated with an email address.

The platform authorizes both graphic ads and web advertising spaces.

It allows operations, whose process is based on auctions, to be developed in an open manner.

Auctions, on the other hand, are used to select which ads will appear on a publisher's site, thereby determining how much revenue will be earned.
