The resulting technological and social upheavals prove that the battle for sovereignty depends on mastering these technologies.

Today, faced with these new challenges, we must go further, in particular:

by strengthening training to develop more talent in France,
by ensuring that the economic fabric has the means to make the most of this technology,
by investing to promote French innovation on the asia cell phone number list international scene,
and by defining appropriate regulation of the different sectors to protect against abuses.
This is why the Prime Minister inaugurated the Generative Artificial Intelligence Committee on September 19, 2023. This Committee brings together stakeholders from different sectors (cultural, economic, technological, research), to help inform the Government 's decisions and make France a country at the forefront of the artificial intelligence revolution.

On the occasion of the launch of the Committee, Bruno Le Maire, Minister of Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, stressed that: "Thirty years ago, we let the digital revolution pass us by because we focused on regulation while neglecting technological conquest. We cannot afford to let this second chance pass us by. In this race of nations, France has major assets. We must go even faster and even further. This committee of experts will help us build the most suitable roadmap to remain one of the world leaders in the field."
