One of the biggest advantages of digital marketing is that you have all the tools you need to have a constant flow of information. Whether you need a specific report or an analysis of your current strategy, the data coming from your digital platforms will always be up to date and relevant.

Why is it important to have up-to-date information at all times?
In offline marketing, a course of action is set and you have to wait until it is finished to measure the results. This directly affects the results since making changes and adjustments on the fly is difficult and usually affects the allocated budget.

In contrast, in digital marketing, information is always available. This means that the phone number list work team can be aware of the results of their actions at all times and make the necessary changes to improve the indicators. Although this requires constant monitoring and an organized team and processes, the advantages make it all worthwhile.

Don't let the amount of data overwhelm you
When working in digital marketing, it is important to keep in mind that, most of the time, digital platforms provide a huge amount of information. This is where it is important that the strategy and objectives are well defined in order to know which data is relevant and which is not useful to demonstrate the fulfillment of the established goals.

Let's take an example: Your latest campaign was aimed at promoting a new product to introduce it to the market and increase sales. Which indicators should you take into account? Marketing teams usually try to justify their activities by showing the most inflated indicators. The number of likers or the reach of posts are the most commonly used data to justify success. But, if we analyse them closely, we can see that they are not really that relevant.

The number of likers on Facebook does not indicate whether people engaged with the posts or clicked on them. The number of people reached by the campaign is also not very useful unless it can be related to sales. On the other hand, the percentage of clicks on a CTA or the visits and conversion rate of a landing page are data that can provide a clear view of the behaviour of the campaign.

The important thing is to be clear about the objectives and to know what information points towards them.
