Let's consider what a "call to action" is - commonly known in the marketing community as CTA. What are its goals and how to create an effective CTA that will attract attention and fulfill its purpose? We have prepared a few tips for you that will help you understand this topic and the very essence of calling for a specific action.

First of all – CTA is a really important element
CTA is an element that has been designed to encourage taking some action and make it as easy as possible. However, not everyone still appreciates its potential, which can be seen when browsing many websites. Meanwhile, a graphic or text with a call to action and a link that redirects to a specific page - is an effective way to generate leads, acquire new customers and ultimately develop the company . However, in order to achieve the assumed business goal, we must remember a few key rules.

CTA – to put it simply – is simply a call to action. It most often takes the form of an icon with a link, but can also appear as a standalone text. The message created should attract attention, and at the same time be simple and understandable in its message. Typical marketing tasks of a “call to action” include encouraging users to take specific actions, such as familiarizing themselves with the offer, signing up for a mailing list, going to the offer subpage or placing an order. In addition, such elements should work in such a way as to clearly indicate a specific possibility and to minimize the risk that a potential customer will not know what to do next.

The mechanism encouraging to take specific actions is primarily used on company websites, but marketers also use it on advertising banners or materials prepared for the needs of all campaigns. However, these are not all applications of CTA. Email – which is still a good way to get visitors to a website – should also be carefully developed from a marketing perspective and have a clear CTA. Data conducted by Word Stream shows that messages in which the encouragement to take action appears once – have as many as 371% more clicks! Which translates into higher sales by… 1617%.
