Important Yoast SEO 7.0 bug

If you are using Yoast SEO with version 7.0 I recommend that you immediately update the plugin to the latest version. As reported by Search Engine Journal , version 7.0 of the plugin reported a very serious bug that would have caused some websites to collapse.
What is the bug? I took the technical explanation from Giuseppe Liguori on a Facebook SEO group:
In practice, Wordpress creates for each image a substantially empty attachment page with only the header, image and footer inside. If you do not check this box, the page is potentially indexable. By checking it, you ask the purchase shareholder database system, if someone lands on it, to redirect directly to the image, without this essentially useless intermediate page. In fact, it is thin content that will trigger the Panda algorithm.
— Joseph Liguori
To fix the bug, just update the plugin or otherwise follow the guide in the post reported above.
2.6 Schema.org Structured Data
To verify the presence of structured data and its correct functioning, you can use Google's online tester .
Google Structured Data Testing Tool
2.7 AMP Wordpress Pages
If the site uses AMP pages you can check their correct functioning with Google's online tool or check if there are errors reported on the Search Console.
For Wordpress I tested the AMP for WP plugin and it is perfectly validated by Google test and Search Console.
