Five new use cases for the My Sticky Menu welcome bar to increase conversion, leads, and sales

Post by shahriya688 »

In this blog post, we will discuss the latest additions to the My Sticky Menu plugin’s welcome (notification) bar, along with a few cool features that you can use in different ways for maximum conversions. If you haven’t done so yet, read our other blog about the My Sticky Menu welcome bar to learn:Why should you use a notification bar on your website?.

Number 1. Add a countdown timer to your welcome bar
One of the new things you can achieve with the plugin is adding a countdown timer element to your welcome bar. You can use this feature to announce a temporary or upcoming event, such as a sale, at the top or bottom of your web page to draw more attention to your message and increase your chances of conversions and sales. You can choose france telegram mobile phone number list between two modes – to start the countdown from a specific date and time (in a specific time zone depending on your location and target audience) or to start the countdown from the moment the welcome bar appears (on page load or selected triggers). If you choose the first mode, you will need to select the start and end date for the timer. If you choose the second mode, you will need to add the minutes and seconds for the countdown to count down. In both modes, the timer will count down from your selected date until it reaches 0:00:00.

Number 2. Display a coupon code at the top of your site
The next feature we have prepared for you is the ability to add a coupon code to your welcome bar. This functionality can be helpful during sales or special offers, for example, when you want to “reward” your website visitors for a certain interaction with an item on your site. With more people indicating that they will spend more on a purchase when there is a discount code, displaying a coupon code in the welcome bar can create a sense of urgency and greatly increase your conversion rate. When enabled, your visitors can view a coupon after submission, i.e. after clicking the button in the welcome bar; for example, you can add a button that says “Get code” and when clicked, it will reveal the actual code. They can then click on the coupon code and copy it and use it on your website when making a purchase. The first step in the setup will be to set up the actual coupon code (name) that you want to display to your audience. Next, you will need to write a custom bar text that will be displayed on the left side of the coupon, for example “Congratulations! Here is your coupon code!”.

#3. Add a contact form to your welcome bar
With the My Sticky Menu Welcome Bar plugin, you can now add a simplified 2-step contact form to your welcome bar that will appear at the top or bottom of your website, depending on your welcome bar settings. Using this feature, you can offer your website visitors a quick and easy way to contact you in just a few clicks. As a site owner, you will receive leads either in your local database or via email (the latter is available to our Pro users only). To enable the feature, you need to select the desired mode to collect your visitors’ name and email or name and phone number via the minimalist contact form. If you are also collecting leads via email, you will need to include one or more email addresses, a “sender name” (the name that will appear as the sender name in your email), and the email subject. Use the {name}, {phone}, {email}, {date}, and {hour} combination tags.

#4. Use the contact form to ask questions about a product or a "quick purchase"
A great use case for the Sticky Menu welcome bar contact form is to set it up as a prominent “inquiry” or “quick buy” option at the top of your site. In recent years, it has become increasingly popular for merchants to encourage quick purchases, so instead of having your website visitor go through the process of adding an item to their cart, then viewing their cart, and finally navigating to where they want to go, you may need to add a lot of details, a full name, email address, and full address, to name a few. You can leverage the welcome bar contact form to get a quicker purchase or query about a product by getting a call back if you include the phone field or – if you go to the email field, you can get details about the product you want, and then as a store owner, you can manually create an order for your customer. Buyers will see this as a benefit in terms of simplifying and speeding up their purchasing process, resulting in a faster sale for you. The best part is that you don’t need to add any intrusive buttons or pop-ups to take advantage of this feature – floating bars are subtle, but they are not insufficient at generating more leads and sales.

#5. Grow your mailing list using the welcome bar contact form
A great way to use the new Sticky Menu welcome bar functionality (contact form) is to help you build a stronger email marketing base. As we mentioned, as a site owner, you’ll be receiving leads from your local database. You can then export a .csv file of your leads and upload them to your preferred email marketing platform to further manage these contacts according to your needs and preferences – for example, you can set them up to receive a newsletter or some irresistible offer from your customers. Collecting visitors’ emails not only through a subscription form, but also through a contact form on your website is a great way to increase your chances of collecting this type of valuable information for your email list and your bigger marketing strategy picture.

So don’t wait any longer – make sure you’re using the latest version of the My Sticky Menu plugin to ensure you’re getting the latest features and fixes – and get going with setting up your next welcome bar. With Black Friday and the holiday season approaching, you can unleash your creativity and make the most of this increased sales period for long-term growth of your customer base, mailing list, and sales.
