computer boredIn a way, it may even be an insult to the revolutionary technology we call the internet, that we use it more to watch videos of funny cats than to educate ourselves on all the value that can be found there. But that is besides the point.
When you realize this, you will also realize that it is important to incorporate an entertainment factor into your business. Especially when you share a lot of information. You will have to release an emotion in your visitors, if you really want to stick. Make sure that visitors want to come back to you. Strong emotions, which ensure returning visitors and also viral effects, are for example humor, fear, empathy, emotion, joy and in a certain sense also inspiration, although that may not be an emotion.
Combining entertainment with information via webinars
What has always worked well for me as an entertainment factor is doing webinars (live broadcasts). These can be lectures, but especially Q&A webinars worked very well for me – especially in the early stages of my website.
I simply let my visitors ask their questions on my blog (nice user generated content ). Then I sat in front of the webcam to answer all the questions that came in live (reading them out and india phone data answering them). In between I gave away prizes (often books or tickets to seminars) and rewarded everyone who asked a question or shared the webinar on social media. I also asked visitors to post their own tips if they wanted to share them. All in all a very nice bunch.

Sometimes more than 300 questions/reactions were posted for a broadcast. I would then sit quietly for three hours in front of the webcam. That sounds like a very strange activity for an entrepreneur, but my conviction is this:
Extreme marketing produces extreme results
There are only a few entrepreneurs who have the courage to make their marketing so personal, approachable and " cozy ". Especially in the Dutch field, where you can sometimes get a lot of chopping when you do something unusual, you have to dare to position yourself so vulnerable.
