Open letter signed by Elon Musk and other senior officialsThe long-awaited Kings League final exceeds all expectations . In the grand final , Adri Contreras' El Barrio team was crowned the first Kings League champion. This first edition of the football tournament breaks viewing records on the streaming platform.
Last Sunday, Camp Nou, FC Barcelona's stadium, was filled with a total of 92,522 spectators , who enjoyed the InfoJobs Kings League Final Four live. In addition, this match was enjoyed by 1,380,000 viewers on average, with a peak broadcast of 2,163,069 people, a historic record for the competition.
But this football league on Twitch , driven by Gerard Piqué and Ibai Llanos, not only broke viewing records on Twitch with more than 2 million viewers, but was also the scene of two Guinness records.
This competition, which has managed to make a name for itself in the world of sports entertainment, breaking all the molds of traditional football, will continue on May 6 through the Queens League , the women's edition of the tournament.
Football was not the only one in charge of breaking records, as the Kings League sought to beat the Guinness record of gathering the largest number of people wearing the same mask , the one with the competition's logo, in the same place.
In addition, fans of the competition have been encouraged to challenge another record, that of the largest number of people performing a haka simultaneously. This record so far stands at just over 7,000 people, who performed a haka in New Zealand. It is not yet known whether the competition has managed to achieve these milestones, but it is not yet known whether the competition has managed to make its way into the history of Guinness records.
