71% of e-commerce affected by the current economic situation

According to data from the latest study conducted by PrestaShop , 57% of affected merchants have reconsidered their business plan to adapt to the current economic situation. This context is supported by the fact that 71% of online stores are affected by the economic situation.

On an international scale, the main impacts are increased costs (for almost 71% of retailers), the supply of raw materials (53%) and logistics problems (35%).

Spanish online stores confirm the international trend: 44% of them choose to increase their prices and 45% to control their expenses in order to cope with the economic situation. In addition, 35% have increased promotional activity.
