1. Magic Editor

Google Bard

The second feature is called Bard , an artificial intelligence developed by Google. Like Chat GPT, Bard is a text generator , soon available in 100 different languages. The new tool will even integrate PaLM 2 (Pathways Language Model), a language model similar to GPT-4 (OpenAI) or LLaMA (Meta).

With Bard, you will be able to:

Write code
Detail a photo precisely in a few lines in order to obtain a perfect description. This option will be possible thanks to the integration of Google Image Search.
Interact between different Google services : Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Maps and Gmail.
Generate texts and visuals through integration with various software such as Adobe Firefly, Kayak, Instacart, Wolfram and Khan Academy.
Bard will be available in 180 different countries, but for the moment France is not concerned by this feature. A little more patience before being able to generate texts with Bard.

3. Google Maps
The third feature is not new, but will see an improvement, it is Google Maps . Indeed, Google is working on a version with a new aerial view , much more immersive and representative of reality . Indeed, you will soon be able to browse your journeys on Google Maps completely in 3D (building, trees, roads, road traffic, etc.). Two new options will even be integrated to fully accompany you on your journey: an air quality indicator according to car traffic and a weather indicator, all in real time. The new Google Maps updates will be available from this summer 2023, but only in Tokyo, London, New York, San Francisco and Paris.

Artificial Intelligence and the Google Search Engine

4. Artificial intelligence and the Google search engine
The last feature is the integration of artificial intelligence into the Google search engine. Indeed, it is planned that when users ask questions on the Google search engine, the first search results that will appear will be those directly generated by artificial intelligence. This feature will be differentiated by a colored insert from the other search results. We will then be able to distinguish the results generated by artificial intelligence and the results taken from websites. The AI's answers will be placed above the other results and therefore, they will be more prominent. This feature is currently only available in the United States.
