Apple is aware that most of its rivals are ahead of it in the vibrant artificial intelligence (AI) industry . And for this reason, the apple company has been forced to swallow its pride and ask for help when it comes to jumping on the AI bandwagon. Its partner in this field will be none other than OpenAI, with whom Apple has forged an agreement to integrate its famous ChatGPT into the iPhone operating system , according to Bloomberg .

is expected to officially announce its alliance with the company led by Sam Altman next Monday at its annual developers conference ( WWDC ).

The deal would potentially give millions of Apple customers access to ChatGPT's parent company , as its chatbot features would be directly embedded in the iPhone maker's apps and services. However, it was noted that Apple would require explicit user consent to integrate ChatGPT into its customers' devices.

Dag Kittlaus, co-founder of Siri before the famous voice assistant was acquired by Apple, told belarus whatsapp list Bloomberg that the agreement between the Apple company and OpenAI will crystallize into a short- and medium-term relationship. Apple's intention would be to eventually emancipate itself from Sam Altman's company to launch its own AI solutions.

Apple is also reportedly seeking a deal with Google
OpenAI will not, however, be Apple's only partner in the AI space. The Cupertino company is currently in talks with Google to integrate the Gemini AI chatbot into its devices , but its agreement with OpenAI has reportedly come to fruition earlier. According to Bloomberg , Apple could end up offering its customers multiple third-party chatbots.

The alliance with OpenAI would have convinced Apple because it was the best agreement in terms of business and also because the company led by Tim Cook trusts that the technology of the American startup will remain at the forefront in the field of AI .

On the other hand, everything points to the fact that Siri, Apple's voice assistant, will be conveniently revamped with AI functions that will allow users to control apps with their voice. With large language models (LLM) at its core, Siri will be able, for example, to send or delete emails, open specific publications in Apple News and summarize articles on the iPhone and iPad. In May, The New York Times already predicted that Siri would be more conversational and versatile in the future and that it would be able to converse with the user instead of just answering questions.
