Yoigo and Euskaltel join the solidarity SMS project that Altiria and the Spanish Fundraising Association started more than a year ago with the collaboration of Movistar , Vodafone and Orange , allowing Spanish non-profit organizations to incorporate SMS as a means of receiving donations, receiving 100% of the cost of the message as a donation (1.20 euros) .

More than 50 NGOs are currently using the number 28014 to receive donations. These NGOs include UNHCR, Amnesty International, Children's Villages, Greenpeace, Manos Unidas, and Save the Children.

Telephone operators Yoigo and Euskaltel have joined this project, and from now on, NGOs that use the 28014 number will be able to receive donations from more than 87% of active mobile phone lines in Spain.
