Alarm: Annual sales targets have not been achieved

Post by samiaseo55 »

With the end of the fiscal year and the beginning of the next, business owners in Spain (and around the world) take stock of their activity. The fiscal year-end brings stark figures to our desks about goals achieved and missed, margins, expenses, and profitability. Even if what has been achieved is sufficient, there are always areas to improve and figures that have not been reached.

At the end of the crisis we've been through, it's no longer enough to simply stay alive, to keep the company open and working. Those were modest goals. Now, for 2017, they must be higher, as the self employed data macroeconomic environment allows for hope for a real recovery in consumption and the economy .

After a few very tough years for Spanish SMEs , with cutbacks, lack of financing, adjustments, and excessive caution, it's time to move to the next level . Zombie companies no longer exist (there are still some, but they're few). If your business is open, it can improve.

If you have a clear business model, spending has been streamlined, and prices can't be adjusted further without eroding margins, it's time to consider how your sales strategies could be improved.

Your business plan for the coming year can be as optimistic as you'd like, but do you have the resources to achieve it? Paper can handle anything, and yet, wouldn't it be nice to meet your goals?
