Automatic replica synchronization for horizontal scaling of datasets (preview)
This latest Power BI update for August announces that the dataset scale-out configuration APIs have been finalized and the replica sync feature has been completed.
It is no longer necessary to enable Scale-Out at the workspace level with a complicated XMLA request, as the XMLA command is deprecated and will no longer work. You can now enable scale-out for each dataset using the Power BI REST API for datasets.
Additionally, you no longer need to manually synchronize read replicas if you want to use automatic replica synchronization, which is enabled by default. However, you can also disable automatic hong kong telegram data synchronization and manually synchronize read write and read replicas for a dataset for controlled update isolation.
Mobile
Power BI mobile app users can now select which item will automatically open when they launch the app. This saves time for those who primarily view a specific item and don't want to navigate from the home page every time they open the app.
To set a startup item, open the desired item, open the “More options (…)” menu in the header, and select “Set as startup item.” You can only mark one item as a startup item.
Additionally, administrators can also use MDM tools to configure a release item for a group of users and simplify their experience with the application.
