The Spanish Marketing Association has closed an agreement with Global Esports Summit for the second edition of the great electronic sports forum that will take place next April in Madrid. A union that aims to promote the professionalization of eSports and the growth of the industry.

With this collaboration, and after the success of the last denmark number screening edition, which brought together more than 43 speakers and 600 participants, #GES20 “seeks to take a further step in its desire to evangelize, professionalize the sector and establish itself as the reference eSports congress in Spain” , they point out in a statement.
The agreement seeks to bring eSports closer to brands
“The agreement is the materialization of one of the objectives that we at GES have been pursuing since we started our project: the naturalization of the sector ,” says Antonio Lacasa, Director of the Global Esports Summit .
The Spanish Marketing Association will collaborate with #GES as an institutional partner. Among other things, it will help disseminate the congress through its communication platforms and will serve as a means of information for non-endemic professionals and brands .
As Victor Conde, General Manager of the Spanish Marketing Association , says, the agreement seeks to bring the world of electronic sports closer to brands: “Brands are increasingly interested and involved in eSports. It is a different, novel and very effective means of achieving certain objectives and targets. All of this through leisure and entertainment . ”
